Ypsilanti Symphony Orchestra (Washtenaw County Parks & Recreation Commission). Adam Riccinto directs this volunteer community orchestra in a program of patriotic music to celebrate Memorial Day .

"PhoenixPhest 2008":
Phoenix Ensemble. May 24 & 25 (different programs). A faculty chamber concert, featuring members of the classy local Phoenix Ensemble, culminates a 3-day workshop for youth musicians. The program includes movements from Beethoven's String Quartet Op. 132, Brahms's Sextet in B-flat Major, and Mendelssohn's Octet. Workshop students perform tomorrow at 3 p.m.
Greenhills School Campbell Center for the Performing Arts, 850 Greenhills Dr. (off Earhart). Tickets $10 in advance and at the door. 358-2100.
