This touring company of top Russian dancers presents its acclaimed storybook treatment of Tchaikovsky's beloved Christmas ballet. This production features costumes and sets based on Russian folk art and designed by Valentin Federov. Also, local ballet dancers and students fill out various minor roles as mice, snowflakes, angels, butterflies, and party guests.

Hilary Cohen directs this award-winning local children's theater company in Jeff Duncan's musical adaptation of the Dickens Christmas classic about crabbed old Ebenezer Scrooge and his transformation after visits by 3 spirits on the night before Christmas. As with all Wild Swan productions, the performance is interpreted in American Sign Language. Audio description and backstage "touch" tours are available for blind audience members by prearrangement. Local Russian children present the club's staged adaptations of 2 literary works. The first, based on Hans Christian Andersen's The Snow Queen, tells the story of a girl whose heart is turned to ice by the sinister queen. Also, a condensed version of Much Ado about Nothing, Shakespeare's high-spirited, sharp-tongued comedy about 2 pairs of young lovers. The plays are performed in Russian, with English-language synopses provided.
