Cavern Club: Killer Flamingos
Rock 'n' roll covers and originals by this popular, veteran band from Dearborn.

Conor O'Neill's: Kris K Band.
Local quartet led by singer-guitarist Kris Kurzawa that plays jazz, soul, and avant-funk covers and originals.

Crazy Wisdom Tea Room: Charlene Kaye
Energetic local singer-songwriter whose songs range between and sometimes mix together a wide array of styles, from classical, swing, and soul to pop and rock. Accompaning herself on both piano and guitar, she is joined by cellist Taryn Wood, who also provides vocal harmonies.

Dreamland Theater: "Bare Wire Technologies Showcase"
An evening of experimental music by artists on this label. With Ypsilanti psychedelic electro-grunge musician Das Chritz, the local ambient band Airport, and the Detroit electronica band Team Science. May 31: Laura Barrett. Minimalist trance music for voice and kalimba by this Toronto musician.

The Earle: Rick Burgess Trio
Jazz ensemble featuring pianist Burgess, drummer Robert Warren, and bassist Russel Tessier.

Elbow Room: Sik Sik Nation.
Local psychedelic-blues garage trio. Opening acts are The Questions, a Detroit experimental rock band, and Silverghost, a Detroit-area pop-rock band.

The Firefly Club: Jeff Hamilton Trio.
Full-bodied blues- and gospel-inflected jazz by an ensemble led by this veteran Detroit pianist and vocalist known for his blend of technical virtuosity and interpretive sensitivity. O'Neal has played with the likes of Milt Jackson, Art Blakey, and Wynton Marsalis, and he appeared as the legendary pianist Art Tatum in the acclaimed Ray Charles biopic Ray. Tonight's show is an Oscar Peterson tribute. His trio includes 2 local jazz luminaries, drummer Pete Siers and bassist Paul Keller. Advance tickets: $20 & $30. 9 & 11 p.m.

Goodnite Gracie: Grievous Angel
Detroit-area country-rock band that covers everyone from Hank Williams to the Grateful Dead and Metallica.

Guy Hollerin's: Steve Nardella Rock 'n' Roll Trio.
Ann Arbor's most passionate and compelling roots-rocker performs fiercely cathartic, blues-drenched reworkings of rock 'n' roll and rockabilly classics and obscure gems, along with some authentic Muddy Waters and John Lee Hooker blues.

The Habitat Ultralounge: Government Honey
Detroit quartet that plays 1970s dance rock.

Leopold Bros.: Starling Electric
Local retro-psychedelic orchestral pop by this local quartet led by singer-songwriter Caleb Dillon.

Melange Subterranean Bistro: The Groove-Matist
Retro, Top 40, and hip-hop dance party with DJ Mechial White.

The Necto: "Frequency"
In the main room DJ Hardy plays Top 40 and dance music records.

The Quarter Bistro: Mike Moore
Jazz guitarist.

TC's Speakeasy: The Dirty Americans
Detroit band whose heavy, guitar-driven rock 'n' roll has provoked comparisons to Helmet and the Rollins Band. Opening acts are Collateral Damage, a local hard-rock band, and another band TBA.
