Live: Drivin’ Sideways 
Veteran local band fueled by Pontiac Pete Ferguson’s alternately soulful and ornery vocals. Their country-based repertoire still features lots of classic honky-tonk, but they also cover everyone from Chuck Berry and Johnny Burnette to the Beatles and James Brown. With guitarist George Bedard, bassist Chris Goerke, drummer Mark Newbound, and keyboardist Jim King. 6:30-9 p.m.

Northville band that plays blus-rock originals and traditional blues.
Silvio’s Organic Pizza: Sel de Terre
Traditional Cajun music sung in French by this Manchester duo of fiddler Peter Lynch and guitarist Steve Rohs.
Tios Mexican Cafe: Tumbao Bravo 
Cuban jazz quintet led by local saxophonist and flutist Paul VornHagen and percussionist Alberto Nacif. 10 p.m.-1 a.m.
Woodruff's: Blue Snaggletooth
Local rock band that includes members of Mazinga and other area bands. Opening acts are the Detroit psychedelic metal-rock band Lava Moth, the Grand Rapids rock 'n' roll garage band Boss Mustangs, and the local hardcore band Wild Ones.
Zou Zou’s Cafe: Eric Moore
Jazz- and blues-inflected fingerstyle guitar playing by this local singer-songwriter who writes passionate, sometimes playfully ironic white soul songs in the tradition of Van Morrison, Sting, and John Martyn.
