A Detroit blues quartet led by longtime Etta James guitarist Bobby Murray is joined by an all-star lineup of area musicians to raise money for the American Red Cross to aid victims of Hurricane Sandy. With local guitar wiz George Bedard, Detroit vocalist Joce’lyn B, Lansing vocalist Twyla Birdsong, guitar virtuoso MotorCity Josh Ford, Detroit vocalist Tosha Owens, saxophonist Joe Labeau, singer-guitarist Erich Goebel, and Groove Council vocalist Kathleen Murray. Murray’s bandmates include keyboardist Philip Hale, drummer Glenn Giordano, and bassist James Cloyd Jr. Emcee is WEMU music director Linda Yohn. $5 minimum donation. 5-8 p.m.
