Community Television NetworkCTN is a free service of the city of Ann Arbor, making all facets of television production available to residents and nonprofit organizations within the city limits. Individuals and groups produce the programs, and CTN provides the training and equipment. Access Soapbox and Access Ann Arbor are programs designed for residents or nonprofits to air views or make announcements; call to schedule an appearance. Channel 16 offers live and taped coverage of Ann Arbor government meetings. On channel 17, individuals and groups share opinions, ideas, and entertainment. Channel 18 offers educational and informational programs and school board meetings. Channel 19, CitiTV, features a showcase of events, arts, sports, and news features produced or acquired by CTN.
