Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti has 23,000 students; 18,000 are undergraduates. It offers bachelor's, master's, and specialist degrees, as well as 3 doctoral degrees (in educational leadership, clinical psychology, and technology). A 3-year Advanced B.A. is offered for selected majors and qualified applicants. Many certificates and bachelors’ and masters’ degrees can be completed through online courses. EMU also provides nontraditional learning opportunities, including corporate and continuing education and study abroad. Undergraduate tuition and fees for 2011-2012 are $8,683 for residents of Michigan and Ohio and $23,095 for nonresidents. Graduate tuition and fees are $8,675-$11,405 for Michigan and Ohio residents and $16,080-$21,473 for nonresidents.
