Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti has 23,000 students; 18,000 are undergraduates. It offers bachelors’, masters’, and specialist degrees, as well as three doctoral degrees (in educational leadership, clinical psychology, and technology). A three-year Advanced B.A. is offered for selected majors and qualified ap- plicants. Many certificates and bachelors’ and masters’ degrees can be completed through online courses. EMU also provides nontraditional learning opportunities, including corporate and continuing education and study abroad.
Undergraduate tuition and fees for 2008-2009 are $8,069 for residents of Michigan and Ohio and $21,464 for nonresidents. Graduate tuition and fees are $8,064-$10,600 for Michigan and Ohio residents and $14,944-$19,960 for nonresidents.
