More than 130 associate degrees and certificates in four areas: business and computer technologies; health and applied technologies; humanities and social sciences; and math, natural sciences, and behavioral sciences. Nearly 26,000 students are enrolled each year in credit courses, with an additional 7,800 in noncredit courses. Certificates and degrees are awarded to more than 2,200 students annually. Continuing education and extension programs offer credit, noncredit, and online instruction. In addition to its main campus, WCC has regional centers in Ypsilanti, Brighton, and Hartland. The Harriet Street Center (332 Harriet, Ypsilanti; 480-9950) provides computer classes. The H. S. Landau Design and Construction Training Center (1150 James L. Hart, Ypsilanti; 961-0516) offers classes in residential construction.
Tuition is $80 / credit hour for county residents, $132 for other Michigan residents, and $174 for out-of-state residents. Distance learning courses are $82 / credit hour regardless of residency. Tuition includes technology fee. County residents age 65 & over pay no tuition.
