So many of Ann Arbor's arty citizens produce jewelry that you don't have to go to a jewelry store to get great inexpensive stuff. Try the Sunday Artisan Market in Kerrytown Apr.-Dec. Alex Gulko and Chris W. Petersen, both downtown, have their own eponymous shops and highly recognizable styles, while Matthew C. Hoffmann's work is on sale at Ten in Nickels Arcade. Abracadabra on E. Liberty and Diane Rose on Stadium also both specialize in original design. Elegant diamonds and gold can be found at Seyfried and Schlanderer on Main and Lewis Jewelers on W. Stadium.
